JNT Alumni 2015 - 2016
Ms. Rutuja Joshi (2015) is pursuing Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The Ohio State University, U.S.A. She has been selected as a Graduate Teaching Associate for two semesters and has also presented research work at several conferences including OSU Materials Week 2016 and 2017, Polymer Initiative Northeast Ohio 2017, 5th Annual Graduate Research Symposium OSU, Tri-State Catalysis Meeting 2017.
Manideep Konakandla (2015) has completed a Master’s degree in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University, U.S.A. He has presented research work at many Information Security conferences, and has received “Outstanding student service award” for his research. He has also been selected as one among three scholars to represent Carnegie Mellon at industry leading information security conference – RSA. He is presently working with Amazon Corporate LLC in Seattle as Security Engineer.
Mr. Ayush Singhania (2016) is pursuing Master’s degree in Civil Engineering at Stanford University, U.S.A, and has received Graduate Teaching assistantship for Excellent Performance in academics in September 2017. He is now Vice President of Stanford India Association.
Mr. Ameya Behere (2016) is pursuing his M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, U.S.A. He has won an Honorable mention in NASA Super Sonic Design Challenge.
Ms. Harshita Jhavar (2016) is pursuing her M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Saarland University, Germany. She was the finalist at “Audi Smart Factory Hackathon” at Audi Headquarters in Germany, where they develop a system which allows the assembly line workers to do their self-work analysis. The systems assigns the credits to each worker based on their performance and thus motivate the workers to do well. She is working as Research assistant under Professor Gerhard Weikum, Director of Database and Information systems lab at MAX Planck Institute for Informatics for Saarbruecken.
Ninad Parab (2016) completed his M.S. degree in Analytics from the Queen’s University, Canada. He was a winner of the “Tableau Case Competition” held at Smith School of Business. He was awarded “Queen’s Master in Management Analytics scholarship” from the University.
Akhil Srivastava (2016) an Agripreneur, has completed his M.S. degree in Management from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University, U.S.A. and has published a White Paper “On technologies in Agribusiness” which has been recognized within the Agritech Industry.
